Hello everyone! Sorry it has been a while but things are better than ever. Recently as I have been serving here in the Oregon City stake we have been focusing a lot on the gathering of Israel. We even received a Gathering Israel Proclomation in the which we have all been commissioned to follow specific invitations to go and gather Israel! One of these invitations is to share our hope and faith filled experiences. In my efforts to be more dilligent in this effort I will be recounting every week one experience from the past little while where we saw the Lord using us as instruments. One experience we had deals with a woman named Nikki. About 3 months ago Nikki had a very vivid dream that told her she needed to return to the Church of Jesus Christ after about 50 years of inactivity. Alive and Well!!

  Hello everyone! It has been a WHILE but I am still alive and well! The work has still been AMAZING out here with Elder Aldridge in Hillsboro and I love it! Here are some highlights from the past little while!  We met a guy late one night while he was taking out his trash and we asked him how he was doing and he said not good... we had a long conversation about how he had just lost his 12 year old son during a surgery and he was confused and angry. We told him that he would be able to see his son again and at first he was apprehensive but we bore testimony and then he got really emotional and invited us to come back another time!  We met a younger guy named Alex who was so intrigued by religion and how he could improve his relationship with God! He kept learning and progressing and he ended up getting baptized on Halloween!  One night I had an impression to knock on someone's door that we hadn't seen in forever and we knocked and we met the guy's girlfriend! Sept 2021

Hello everybody, hope you guys are all doing well!  This past few weeks have been absolutely insaneeeee so much stuff has gone down. First things first I got a new companion Elder Aldridge and he is the BEST. From day one we just went to work and we get along great! We love the work and we love working together so it doesn't get better than that!  One of our first few nights together we realized we had a flat tire so we took our car to Les Schwab and decided to walk around a few apartment complexes while we waited for the car to fix. While we were out there were people just being put right in our path and we were finding and teaching people like crazy! It was getting late and we walked back to the Les Schwab but it was closed and we couldn't get our car back... So as any normal missionaries would do we just kept walking around and at the end of the night we had found and taught 8 people!!! Yoooo how's it going everyone? Hope yall are staying safe and doing well! These weeks haven't been too eventful but sadly we got some AWFUL, TERRIBLE news out here in the Hillsboro zone... Elder Riggs, my beloved companion, will be heading to Mexico on the 14th of September. But I am excited for him to finally get to his original mission.  Tundi  We have been playing a crazy game of hide and seek with Tundi because sometimes we find him and then sometimes we will go weeks without seeing him. However, on one specific occasion we were just about to leave his complex until then he drove up in his car. We approached him and he basically told us straight up like what do we want from him. We then proceeded to set up a return appointment where we would explain our purpose and why this message applies to him. We had a POWERFUL lesson on the restoration of the church and his whole attitude shifted and he promptly invited us back for another lesson!  Silvia  We had our first lesson with

Transfer Week

  TRANSFER WEEK  Helloooooo everybodyyyy these last few weeks have been pretty wild and filled with a lot of crazy stuff so lets get right into it haha!  First, we met this awesome guy named Alejandro who referred himself to the missionaries from Facebook and from the beginning it was clear he was diligently searching for more. He left us a voicemail one night basically saying he felt a darker presence in his life and he wanted to take the next steps necessary to receive more light in his life. After a couple solid lessons with Alejandro explaining the blessings of repentance and baptism he committed to a baptismal date!! Woohooo!! Well some sad news to break is that Angel did not get baptized :(( He just did not feel it was the right timing and he insisted he should wait. After many long talks and teachings and earnest prayer he still felt the same. However, over the course of this experience we have gotten very close with David his dad. "The Garden Spot on the Mission"

"Hillsboro: The garden spot of the mission" What's up yall this week has been a wild one! So buckle up and get ready to hear some INSANE stories and miracles!  Jose Luis and his family are PROGRESSING! We had an amazing lesson with him and really emphasized the importance of reading the BOM and baptism. He was very receptive and he knows that this is the right direction he wants his life to go!  This last week we met an amazing FAMILY! Ivan, Veronica, and Gustavo are all so willing to learn from us! After meeting them the first time we dropped by and they immediately invited us in and we had an amazing discussion about their lives and how this gospel truly can and will change their lives! The spirit was so strong and we can't wait to keep working with them!  Yahir and Estrella are a younger couple we found that just had a baby and they are THE BEST. It had been a little while since we had been able to meet them after our first contact but one day we caught them coming

NEW TRANSFER

Yooooo how is it goin?! We just recently hit a new transfer and man did we end on a good note! There were so many amazing miracles and amazing people met! We ended this transfer with an amazing 46 new people found!! The Lord has been blessing us with so many amazing people to teach! Here are some cool experiences from the end of this transfer! Angel We have been working with angel for a while and we set a baptismal date for him! He is so humble and christlike he is amazing! Angelica We met this awesome lady Angelica and started teaching her family! We got an amazing member Ada Romero to come to lessons with us and they were immediately best friends! Angelica and her mother in law both are so engaged in our message and they showed up to church on sunday! Madeleine An amazing miracle with this lady! A pair of missionaries in our zone happened upon this lady and she could only speak Spanish. Luckily one of the Eldeds knew portugese and was able to vaguely communicate to her about
