November 4th 2020 Update

Hellooooo everybody! Hope y'all had an awesome halloween weekend. This last week has been super fun and eventful! I also got some sweeeeeet pics this week of some awesome views out here in Molalla!

- So the man the myth the legend brother Puffer hosted this insaneeeee haunted bus ride through the woods for mutual. And we got be be a part of it! Basically Ordyna ran up to the bus and was yelling I lost my companions and there's something out in the woods. And then the bus goes a little ways down and I crawl out of the forest and start yelling for help and then Diaz comes out of the shadows and drags me away haha it was so fun! Then on Saturday of that week he hosted at his farm this huge fall festival and that went awesome!! - SPANISH SACRAMENT November 1st was the day that all our hard work had been leading up to and it went awesome!! So we had 34 people that were there in attendance and of that group 21 of them were former members of the branch!! And we had about 4 families that committed to watch over zoom but sadlyyyy they did not schedule out time to broadcast during our Spanish sacrament so that was a bummer. But overall it was great! President gave us a call and was SUPER stoked about the turnout and all the work we have been doing. He has some big plans for us and for the Spanish efforts in this area so we are suuuuuper excited to keep working hard!! - Service We had this service at Salvation Army where we made 1000 pb&j sandwich lunches for those in need. All I gotta say is I've learned how to crank out pb&J's like nobody's business haha. Elder Ordyna and I probably cranked out 400 sandwiches just on our own hahah we were in the zoneeeeee. We also helped our one of our investigators Cheryl June organize and throw out some canned food she has been saving. - Teaching So as of now we have four people we are teaching. Cheryl June has been consistently coming to our gospel principles class and we have had chances to meet with her and talk about the BOM! There is a couple that is living with the amazing Garcia family who we have started teaching. We had an awesome dinner/lesson with them that went like 3 hours just talking about the restoration and the church and they have a lot of questions but we are just going to keep working with them! Also as of today we just got a new referral so we are going to schedule a time to meet with him soon! - VIEWS The sunsets and views out here in Molalla are just beautiful! I love taking in the scenery here and it just reminds me how much I love serving the amazing people of Molalla! After going through my first transfer in the mission I have already felt like I have learned and grown so much! The mission is a lotttttt of work but it is so worth it! There is no place I'd rather be right now then serving the Lord in the Oregon Portland mission! Hope y'all are doing good!
